Dennis has more than 28 years of experience in the life insurance industry and accounting to his role as President and Director of Mothe Life Insurance Company and DLE Life Insurance Company. Dennis joined Mothe Life in 1988 as an office manager and became Vice President in 2005 before becoming President in 2009. In November 2016, he was elected President of Southland National Insurance Corporation. Dennis has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from Our Lady of Holy Cross College.
Director of Sales and Marketing
Scott is the Director of Sales and Marketing for Southland National Insurance Company. Scott has been with Southland National Insurance Company since April of 2017. Scott was previously with Mothe Life Insurance which was purchased by Eli Global’s Insurance Division, Global Bankers. Previously, Scott worked for Services Corporation International as a General Manager and was in charge of five funeral homes and eight cemeteries. Scott has also worked as a media consultant for the 2002 Winter Olympics and the Sundance Film Festivals and enjoyed a wonderful career in Production and Hospitality. Scott has a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Utah and an MBA from Ottawa University.
New Policy Administrator
Lisa has been with the company since 2006, as the Prudent Plan Pre-Need Administrator. Previously, Lisa worked in Medical Administration for a hospital and clinic in the New Orleans area. A Veteran of The United States Army, Lisa participates in events to benefit disabled and homeless Veterans.
Beth has worked with the company since 1999 and has had various responsibilities. She was also a member of the Board of Directors. Beth has been the Claims Coordinator since 2006. Beth previously worked for a national advertising firm in New Orleans. Beth graduated with a degree in Communications and Marketing from Southeastern Louisiana University.
Stacy is the Brand Manager for Southland National Insurance Company, an Eli Global Company. Stacy has been with Eli Global since April of 2015. With more than 20 years of experience in sales, marketing and management, Stacy’s current roll is very suiting. One of the best comments ever made about Stacy by a former leader was “Stacy not only thinks outside the box, she creates the box.” Stacy has helped both new and existing businesses in building their brand and online reputation to promote their products and services. Stacy has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Bellevue University.
Office Manager, Evangeline Location
Susan has been working for the company since 1978. She began as a bookkeeper and was promoted to Office Manager in 1995. She previously worked for an oilfield distributing company in New Iberia, Louisiana. Susan earned a bachelor’s degree in General Business from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, LA.
Office Manager, Bogalusa office
Susan has over 17 years of experience with the company, working in all aspects of the business. She is passionate about providing the best customer service possible and has developed a strong working relationship with all of the customers she serves. Susan enjoys traveling and camping with her husband, and making memories with her awesome grandchildren. For the past several years, she has worked as a volunteer for the St. Jude Dream Day Foundation.
Office Manager, Lafourche Location
Brandi has worked with the company since 2011. She started as a claims processor and agent. She has advanced into the role as Office Manager at the Lafourche branch office. Brandi prides herself at giving first rate customer service to our current and future customers. Additionally, she makes every effort to develop personal relationships with our customers to make sure each family member is insured correctly and inevitably well cared for after the passing of their loved ones.
Brittany has been working with the company now for a little over a year. She presumes as an administrative professional in the Lafourche branch office where she also strives on building lasting relationships with all her customers. Brittany is originally from Chalmette, Louisiana. When she is not working she enjoys exercising and spending time with her family.
Jessica has been working at our New Iberia location for 13 years. Over the course of this time she has performed many responsibilities from office support to the field. She values each relationship she builds with her customers and consistently provides excellent, personal service. Jessica is originally from St. Martinville, LA. and attended South Louisiana Community College where she studied General Business/Accounting. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Account Manager, Bogalusa Location
Monica has been with the company since 2009, as a Life Insurance Agent and Account Manager. Previously, Monica worked in Medical Administration for a Hospital in the Covington, Louisiana area. She prides herself in making her customers happy and doing what she can to help them in their time of need. Monica has lived and worked in the Washington Parish, La., area all of her life. She also enjoys being Co-Chairman of the Old McDonald’s Farm at the Washington Parish Free Fair for the past 4 years, she has volunteered for the Fair for the past 15 years. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
